The One Day Slow Cooker Workshop was on Thursday 30th May, 2024. at TVWC and was made possible by Teesside Charity’s gracious support. This unique event brought together cooking enthusiasts of all skill levels for a day of learning, creativity, and delicious food.
A Day of Learning and Fun
The workshop was designed to be hands-on, providing participants with practical skills and techniques to make the most out of their slow cookers.
Cooking Up a Storm
The highlight of the day was the preparation of a hearty family meal. Everyone worked together happily, chopping vegetables, seasoning meats, and layering ingredients into their slow cookers. The recipes selected were not only tasty but also feasible for preparation at home.
A Gift to Remember
As the workshop came to an end, the aroma of the slow-cooked meals filled the air. Each participant was given the opportunity to take home the meal they had prepared, as a reward for their hard work and dedication.
In addition to the meals, Teesside Charity also gave each participant a brand new Crockpot Slow Cooker.
