Women’s Health Clinic – Registered Nurse
Women’s Health Clinic held once a month on a Wednesday, 11.00am to 1.00pm.
No appointment necessary, just drop in.
This clinic is here to cover a whole range of women’s health issues and can offer amazing support and advice. Lead by a registered nurse, with important services offered including contraception, cervical smear testing, menopause advice and support, STI screening and much more, all held within the accessible, welcoming environment of the Tees Valley Women’s Centre.

Eva Women’s Aid
In partnership with Eva Women’s Aid the centre represents a collaborative effort to support women particularly those effected by domestic abuse, sexual violence.
We are both dedicated to empowering women, promoting safety and providing tailored support services. Together the partnership focuses on providing specialist holistic support to women in a safe inclusive environment with childcare provided.

Law Clinic
In our monthly law clinic, a local solicitor from Appleby, Hope & Matthews can offer specialist legal support & advice in areas such as:
- Private Law (contact) – assisting with difficulties with your partner/ex-partner spending time with your children. Drafting preliminary letters, assist in mediation referrals, drafting Court applications, and can also attend Court to represent you where needed. Also assisting in many other areas such as Specific Issue Orders, Special Guardianship Orders, prohibited Steps Orders, etc.
- Domestic Abuse – assisting you if you have been affected by domestic abuse. Send warning letters to abusers and, if you’re eligible, draft applications to the Court for Non-Molestation Orders and representing you.
- Child Protection – assist you if you’re involved with the Local Authority (social services), attend Child Protection Conferences and PLO meetings. Attend Court hearings and represent parents should the matter progress to Court
