Tees Valley Women’s Centre was abuzz with energy and enthusiasm on March 12th as TVWC
commemorated International Women’s Day with a range of empowering activities.

Heart Clinic:
TVWC commitment to women’s health took center stage as they hosted a Heart
Clinic, offering free Healthy Heart Checks. Through this initiative, they aimed to raise
awareness about cardiovascular health and empower women to prioritize their well-being.
Breast Clinic:
In line with our dedication to promoting women’s health, our Breast Clinic
provided vital Breast Awareness sessions. TVWC emphasized the importance of early
detection and self-care practices, empowering women to take control of their breast health.
Tea and Cake :
TVWC guests indulged in delicious treats while engaging in meaningful
conversations and enjoyed the International Women’s Day Celebrations.
Partner Engagement:
TVWC were honored to have our valued partners join them in this
celebration. Their presence reaffirmed our collective commitment to advancing women’s
rights, health, and empowerment. Together, TVWC celebrated the achievements and
resilience of women, while also acknowledging the work that still lies ahead.
